Prior blocking
Block configured scripts by URL pattern until the visitor grants the matching category.
OpenConsent CMP gives WordPress sites a self-hosted banner, script blocking, structured consent records, admin CSV/JSON exports, declarations, browser-language detection, and Google Consent Mode v2 controls.
Plugin surface
OpenConsent CMP is transparent, local, editable, and designed to help site owners explain their services without handing consent records to a vendor cloud.
Block configured scripts by URL pattern until the visitor grants the matching category.
Save structured consent records locally with action, categories, region, language, page URL, plugin version, and anonymized visitor hashes.
Use browser auto-detection, the WordPress site locale, or a fixed banner language with browser-translation-friendly text.
Choose strict opt-in, browser-hint auto mode, or notice mode and keep unreviewed services in an unclassified category.
Publish the service registry with the shortcode [openconsent_declaration].
Document provider, purpose, category, match pattern, and privacy policy URL for every configured service.
Crawl internal pages for Set-Cookie headers, external static resource hosts, and suggested service registry rows.
Filter records by action, category, date, or URL, inspect technical details, prune old records, and export CSV or JSON.
Review configured services by provider, purpose, privacy URL, category, match rule, and documentation status.
Inspect blocked scripts and embeds through the browser console and the OpenConsent JavaScript API.
Publish choices to functional, preferences, statistics, statistics-anonymous, and marketing categories for compatible WordPress plugins.
Plain PHP, CSS, and JavaScript. No obfuscated scripts, no hidden vendor service.
WordPress plugin
OpenConsent CMP installs as a versioned WordPress upload ZIP with plugin files at the ZIP root. Upload it from the WordPress admin, activate it, then configure categories, script rules, consent records, Google Consent Mode, and the cookie declaration shortcode.
Live demo
This page uses the same frontend consent controller included with the plugin. Expand each category to see live blocked scripts, URL rules, Google signal mappings, localized labels, and the site privacy policy link. In WordPress, saved choices appear as structured admin records with export options.
Use these controls to test consent choices. Necessary features stay active; optional categories allow matching services only after consent, and the real banner can reopen with translated category details.
Install
Download the versioned ZIP, upload it in WordPress, then configure your services, privacy policy URL, consent records, crawl reports, exports, and Google consent behavior.

Consent software should be clear about what it does, where records are stored, what admins can export, and which responsibilities remain with the site owner.
Consent records remain in your WordPress database and can be exported by admins as CSV or JSON. The plugin does not report visitor choices to YASA LTD.
Personalized AdSense, Ad Manager, or AdMob ads in some regions may require a Google-certified TCF CMP.
